WHAT THEY WILL LEARN
- Sing as part of a community group, exploring song themes, whilst being given information, support and guidance
- Warm-up their bodies and voices and be given the opportunity to socialise
- through rehearsal and repetition, reflect on their progress
- Enjoy a final performance to an audience
- Attend weekly sessions with a professional facilitator and experience the technical aspects of voice, sound and genre
- Learn new skills in group singing
- Work as part of a large team
- Choose session material and explore creative learning
WHAT THEY WILL DO
- Listen to, talk about and sing different genres of music
- Take part in and learn about the benefits of warm-ups
- Learn about singing best practice and how to use it in everyday tasks and even when performing
